Hillsborough, NC. December 7, 2022 -- Yrrid Software today announced
that it has won first place in two ZPrize competitions.
Yrrid has won first place in the Open Division Accelerating EC
Operations and FF Arithmetic (WASM) competition and tied for first place
in the Open Divisition Accelerating MSM Operation on GPU competition.
Finite Field (FF) arithmetic, Elliptic Curve (EC) operations, and Multi-Scalar Multiplication (MSM) are
fundamental cryptographic operations and are used widely in cryptographic protocols and ZK-SNARK
proof systems. High performance implementations are critical for advancing the state of the art
and for making ZK-SNARKs more practical for everyday use.
Our ZPrize submissions were developed by Niall Emmart, Sougata Bhattacharya, and Antony Suresh.
Niall holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in cryptography and BigNum arithmethic
and has 30 years experience in software development. Sougata and Antony each have over 20
years experience in software development.
